Inspired by a visit to Omeo Valley where Greer passed the old stockyards and felt a “presence” of a time past. She was arrested - as she calls it in writing - in the early hours of the morning causing her to start the song from the warmth of her swag under torchlight. The honest simplicity of the arrangement has kept it as pure as the mountains it was written in.
