This song I was inspired by my wife Carol, who definitely loves jasmine. She is the sort of person who, when she fixes you in her gaze, you are pierced to the heart by her intensity. And there is no doubt that "you can see the whole world in her eyes".

I think this song would probably appeal to Sheldon on "Big Bang Theory". It's based one of the myths in Tolkien' Silmarillon. The Valari are the 7 spirits sung into being by Ea the Creator, in the Very Beginning. It (hopefully) echoes the powers of 7 that resonated in the ancients world & finishes with an anthem: The One will forever subtend and encompass the Myriad.

Another blues tune, this one's a solo project. I wrote it when we used to live in Pulaski, Tennessee, and I would often sit on the porch step and watch the sun going down. Hope you like it, and as always, I'd love to hear your feedback on the song.

It's a blues tune, with some not so subtle political overtones. I like the chord changes on the chorus. This version was recorded by Bimini Road at Berkeley Bob's Coffee House in Cullman, Alabama, on Saturday, September 24. Hope you like it, and as always, I'd love to hear your feedback on the song.

A country rocker, I guess. Pretty much a hook and some nice chords, but a lot of fun to play. A simple song that you might hear in roadhouse someday. Assuming you frequent roadhouses. Is this a scary song? Not really, but it is intended to evoke some unease, the nominal awareness that "something" waits, outside the door, in the darkness, a Nameless Something that does not wish you well.And whatever we fear, we must face. Enjoy.

You may not see or hear a more straight-up country song than this from me. It's bars and drinking and women, and knowing that whatever happens, it's pretty certain you're gonna regret something.

Not many people do the "Hitchhiker's Guide To Seeing America" any more. Years ago, it was practically a rite of passage. My own westward trek gave me lots of material, but it also changed me fundamentally. Not always for the better. This song grew out of all that.

"Pouring Rain" is love gone wrong song. "I left you standing in the pouring rain/ I left you standing and I felt no pain." It's a bluesy tune, with some rock overtones and a pretty hooky chord structure. Enjoy!
