paul mauer, deciding to go solo after years of band jumping, touring and studio sessions. now having the freedom and new found drive to bring his music to the ears of the masses. with an interesting blend of aggressive acoustic indie rock mixed with the sensitivity of the folk singer songwriters of the 1970's.

This is one of the first acoustic songs I ever wrote. The lyrics refer to a hope for something that seemed elusive, yet came and then left so quickly that it seemed a dream. Vocally this is not my favorite kind of music, but as far as the things that I write, this is simply what tends to come out. I just would like some honest feedback from anyone, especially other musicians. -Daniel

"Fallen" is a song about losing someone very special. Brings to mind a parent.. or lover that may be leaving for war..this is their song, their letter to who they leave behind..who they may never see again...Also brings to mind having to let someone go in a relationship.. they may not love you.. but there's nothing wrong with loving them and always caring..were human.. love is good..
